I'm not tired, I'm just bored.

Hey! Sup two posts in one day!
I am so bored that I have actually typed four different paragraphs into this box - only to delete them two seconds later because I felt the subjects were lame (I care about what I put up for the public eye!).
I am so bored that I have just instant messaged about eight people that I am bored. Right uh six of those people have the little memo-pad icon next to their screen names and I think its because they don't want to talk to me.
I am so bored that this is all coming off in my head like a yo-mamma type battle...between myself.
Good gracious!

"Yeah! It was badass! I say badass now."

I love Mila Kunis, her coolness factor goes up every single day.

I went thrift store shopping the other day and bought this really bright pink jacket and a really long old lady dress (which I plan on hemming) because I like saving money - yet it still came out to ten bucks...sigh.
You know what else I really appreciate? Food! Specifically speaking photogenic food; which is why tastespotting.com has so appealed to my need to be aesthetically pleasured. Now if it does not sound like porn yet, you're getting the wrong impression - I will tell you now that I want you to think this is the equivalent of porn for a food-lover like me. This blog is so cool because it starts off with amazing pictures and when you get to the breaking point and you want to actually learn how to make these delecadant dishes, you can click on the picture which has so pleasured you and it will link you to a website which tells you either how to make the food or where you get it. It does not all link to the same site like the food network or anything; rather it is an accumulation of delicious pictures from various blogs kind of like the department store *Macys - a collection of different designers under one roof (I say Macys and not Nordstrom because "everything is better at Macys!").

Perfect.

I just had some amazing bean soup downstairs, fixed myself some piping hot green tea and took my "Whats in your bag?" picture - I am set for 2009!
Well actually, I am wondering why I'm not wearing any pants but hey, each to his own!

The bag itself comes from Florence and doubles as a purse/messenger bag. I usually wear it as a messenger bag for convenience. I've often gotten comments concerning the bag saying, "That's a nerd bag." Which I'm okay with because a large part of me is socially classified as nerdy. It has five pockets and two compartments on the inside, one for my phone and a larger one for who knows what (I usually stick my keys there). Oh, and did I mention it's leather? It was this bag that made me realize my love for leather. It is a gift to me from my mother given in the summertime, I love it with all my heart and try to keep it like new while still using it to get my moneys worth.
Next comes my ipod & collapsible headphones. Because my ipod is extremely old it tends to crash if I put too much data on it at once. This was another present to me from Santa. I love Santa, he is one of my best buds for getting me this ipod. Sometimes I look at it and wish I waited longer to ask for an ipod for Christmas because nowadays there are some pretty neat ipods out there for half the price of what this one cost. But again, I try my best to take care of it and use it as much as possible to get the moneys worth. My family isn't very well off so taking care of such things are important to me. This ipod has been with me through thick and thin with all sorts of music on it. Not really, a couple months ago it crashed severely (this is how I realized that it cannot handle big transfers) and deleted the entire library. More of a blessing than a curse because I am now compiling a new sort of collection of music which so greatly different from what I had on this little gadget. It reminds me that I am growing up. These headphones are a purchase of my own thanks to ebay ($20 holla!). They are amazing and so comfy! Although the part that separated my head from the very top of the headphones did break so now they kind of slide off my ears and don't fit as well as before, they're still good and are a lifesaver for walks across campus!
Inside the headphones is my phone. It isn't fancy or anything, I got it for $50 from some shady dealer and it is the size of my palm. But I don't ask much from a phone and it doesn't give me any problems so I'm cool with it. Because of it's bland exterior and lack of features, it sometimes serves as a conversation piece, so that is pretty cool!
My wallet is all dirty & beat up from constant use. It's another gift from my 2007 Secret Santa (Romie). There is some change on it because I think having spare change on you is important. I'm trying really hard to not use any of my cards and to just strictly pay in cash so for me such things are imperitive.
Next to my wallet is my notebook. On top of which are my keys, pencil case & contents which include chapstick, a Steve Carrell pencil, white eraser (because red ones suck) and some lead.
Below is my makeup bag & contents which include 2 makeup brushes (Bare Minerals max coverage brush & flawless application brush), 2 sample-sized Everyday Minerals foundation (mint color corrector, warm-beige), a tampon, lipstick (Mary Kay sagewood), compact from Vietnam (present from Victoria), Cover Girl lipstick thing & (unseen) there is my camera.
Un-opened pink toothbrush.
There you go! That is what is in my bag. A resolution of mine is to be a better blogger. At some point in my life I used to be really good at this business and would get really random comments/readers from all sorts of places. I would like to do that again but I am a pretty uninteresting person so who knows?
Happy New Year!
