I feel sort of whimsical right now! Look at these beautiful Hansel from Basel socks? You would feel whimsical too after you spent a half an hour looking at them! I think if I had any of these I would wear dolly skirts and deliciously crisp white outfits just as much as I can just so I would have an excuse to wear them.
A Debbie Downer moment:
Did you know that the story of Hansel and Gretel was inspired by the fact that due to the overpopulation in certain areas of Europe during the time of the plague kids would be taken out to the forest by their parents and simply left there for dead?
Which leads me to wonder, how awkward was it when Hansel and Gretel made their way back home after nearly being eaten by the witch?
